Idaho Spring is located 40 minutes west of Denver on I-70 at an elevation of 7,526 feet.
It is a small town with a lot of history where there were several mines that extracted silver, copper and gold. As of now, there are two that are open for tourist activity and it also has many other attractions such as hot springs, hiking, sport fly fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, zip lining, there is also one of the famous glaciers, St. Mary's Glaciers. of many that exist in the state of Colorado.

Beginner features an 8-mile course with class 2 and 3 rapids, making it a great way to get started in the rafting community. In the last two weeks of May, water levels are a bit low but still incredibly fun for families with children. In June, water levels rise a bit higher, and some of the rapids form big waves, up to 2 meters high, which are super fun and completely safe.
The guides have over 15 years of experience in white water rafting, both locally and internationally. They are certified in current first aid techniques and also hold certifications in Sweet Water Rescue International. Additionally, we have an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) guide available.
8:00am - 10:15am - 1:30pm and 4:30pm

The section is 8 miles long and begins at Dumont, which takes 15 minutes from the house to the put-in. The section features Class 3 and 4 rapids, with the most challenging ones being Phoenixes followed by Deliverance and Out of Limits. It's super fun, and we have safety kayakers accompanying us to provide a highly professional service.
